‘I bought Turnstone by Kathy Ramsay Carr for my daughter’s partner’s 30th birthday. It was a bit of a gamble as artwork is so personal. I had bought a different artwork for myself from King & McGaw and was very pleased with the quality of reproduction so thought I would take a chance. I’ve been assured, not out of politeness, that both really like it. It’s not necessarily something they would have chosen but they probably don’t spend the time looking for artwork or know where to look so ‘not choosing’ it doesn’t really stand up. The plus side is that now they are in their own home they intend to look at King & McGaw for future artwork.’
