About Every Evening - I Miss You

The flourishing Chicago club scene of the late 1920's spawned a straw-hatted Louisiana-born clarinettist, Jimmie Noone, who's 5-piece Apex Club Orchestra made it a huge hit. Written by Jimmy McHugh and Billy Rose, both flamboyant New York songwriters of the time, the picture depicts a tearful, love-struck ‘flapper' girl, with permanent wave hair and rose-bud lips.
