Born in Waterford, Ireland in 1955, Peter Curling was brought up in County Clare and in England, where he went to school. His early work was influenced by the eminent tutor Signorini Nera Simi, and by the great equestrian artist John Skeaping. He lived for a time in Newmarket, riding out with the eminent trainer Michael Stoute, before he returned permanently to Ireland in 1975. |
