Ingrid Abery's artistic career began at a young age, photographing and painting the coastal landscapes and seascape of her childhood Sussex. Abery studied at Bath, but was always drawn back to the sea. She is a keen watersports enthusiast, sailor and swimmer.

Ingrid Abery's photography is characterised by it's dynamic composition, lighting effects and a sculptural quality.

She has been featured in numerous magazines and exhibited extensively.
