One of the most significant and prolific figures in 20th Century art, Picasso was born in Spain and showed exceptional talent even as a child. In 1901 he moved to Paris and met Lautrec, Gauguin and Van Gogh. In 1907 he met Braque and they began to develop Cubism together.
